About the Ashok Soota Molecular Medicine Facility
The Ashok Soota Molecular Medicine Facility has been established as an integrated platform to support drug discovery and the development of diagnostic tools. The facility is designed to enable research teams to move from a fundamental understanding of disease mechanisms and biomolecular targets to experimental validation of lead molecules and assay development. By bringing together complementary capabilities in protein science, molecular and cell biology, biophysics, analytical profiling, and advanced imaging, the facility will support both academic research and translational outcomes across diverse disease areas, including neurological disorders, cancer, metabolic disorders and infectious diseases.
Location: Ground Floor, New Building, Biosciences & Bioengineering Department, IIT Roorkee
